Railing fastening:

The galvanised heavy-duty anchors from Fischer included in the set are only suitable for fixing to concrete.

Chipboard screws and spanner screws are suitable for fastening to wood. Here it is essential to ensure that the beams to which you want to attach the railing have a suitable cross-section and are torsionally rigid in order to achieve the necessary stability.

The substrate should be suitable for this.

If in doubt, please consult a structural engineer, as safety comes first!

Screw-on floor installation (kit 1)

In this variant, the all-glass profile is anchored directly to the floor or floor slab using suitable fixing material at a distance of 7 cm (centre of the floor profile to the edge of the concrete). Due to the narrow mounting surface, the profile can be used in a variety of ways and has a favourable price/performance ratio.

With this system, you can attach the profile directly to the edge of your balcony or gallery. This eliminates the edge clearance that would otherwise be necessary, giving you more "space" for applications that are particularly noticeable on a small balcony. In addition, you can install the profile directly under the screed, which is particularly welcome when constructing a new building.

Lateral floor installation (kit 3)

This system represents an elegant and modern glass railing that fulfils all resistance and safety requirements.

As this profile is installed at the front, the glass can only be seen from the living area. This all-glass profile therefore has an extremely modern look, lets in as much light as possible and promotes transparency in the room. The screw connection is covered by a bezel.

Installation is normally flush with the concrete slab. If you are planning a higher structure on the floor due to insulation, screed, tiles or parquet, it would be in the visible area. In this case, we recommend our kit 4. This system is also installed at the front, but the top edge of the profile is raised and allows for an additional floor structure.

The special feature of this variant is the extended fixing flange on the profile, which allows the parapet to be mounted higher. The top edge of the profile can be positioned above the floor slab, allowing a subsequent floor structure consisting of an insulating layer, screed and tiles on the floor slab. The clip-in cover strip of the glass balustrade conceals the entire structure and forms a clear visual line on the balustrade.
