Due to its optimum weather resistance, the unpolished stainless steel smooth sheet is mainly used outdoors as a wall covering, in façade construction or as splash protection. It is also frequently used as edge protection or impact protection to protect door leaves from being kicked. It is also used as a heat conducting sheet, as a reflector or reflector for lighting installations. Due to its high chemical resistance to water and diluted acids, this steel is also in great demand in the food and beverage industry. However, it is not suitable for use in swimming pools. Contact with seawater should also be avoided, as chloride ions attack the material.
