Product information

This profile can be used flexibly and is used in particular on pitched and flat roofs, as well as for ground-mounted systems. It is also suitable for all module types.

Top mounting channel groove 8: The clamps are fastened in the top mounting channel (groove 8) using an M8 T-slot nut and M8 sliding wedge. The photovoltaic and solar panels are attached to the top.

Bottom mounting channel slot 10: The profiles are fastened in the bottom mounting channel (slot 10) with stainless steel M10 T-bolts (hammer-head bolt type 28/15) and M10 flange nuts. The underside of the profile is suitable for roof brackets, mounting adapters, mounting triangles and other elements.

The profiles can be extended with profile connectors, available separately.

The sawn edges are unfinished and not deburred. The surface is raw/bright, so scratches etc. cannot be avoided. This is normal in the trade and is no reason for complaint. Nevertheless, we always endeavour to supply all cuts in the best quality.

Powder coating - additional information and quality features

Our powder-coated aluminium solar profiles not only offer high corrosion resistance, but also an aesthetically pleasing and durable surface. The powder coating provides an even protective layer that protects the material from environmental influences and at the same time guarantees an attractive appearance. The coating thickness is between 60 - 80 µm, which ensures optimum durability.

Note: There may be approx. 5 mm holes at the ends of our powder-coated solar profiles, which are used for fixing during the coating process. These holes are untreated and not deburred. On request, we can produce the profiles without holes or with holes on one side only. For precise applications, we recommend shortening the holes to approx. 50 - 80 mm.

The surface quality and colour of our powder-coated aluminium solar profiles may vary slightly due to the production process. Colour deviations are also possible depending on monitor and graphic settings.

Quality and precision in powder coating

A high-voltage cascade is used in the powder coating process, which enables the profiles to be coated evenly and without gaps. Excess powder remains trapped in the electrical field, which guarantees an even layer over the entire surface. The so-called "picture frame effect" is created at the edges of the profiles, which increases corrosion resistance but may require reworking if the fit is tight.

When assessing the quality of the powder coating, the surface must be free of bubbles, scratches or other damage. The coating should not show any damage that penetrates through to the metal. Deviations in the primary material caused by the pressing process do not affect the quality of the coating and are excluded from the quality assessment.
