What are aluminium U-profiles?
Aluminium U-profiles are U-shaped bent or pressed aluminium profiles with two parallel legs and a connecting web. This design makes them particularly suitable for guiding, edging, covering or stabilising components. Depending on the design, the width, height, material thickness and length can be customised. Aluminium is an impressive material due to its low weight combined with high stability and excellent corrosion resistance. This means that customised aluminium U-profiles are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can be easily further processed, for example by drilling, sawing or screwing. Compared to other profile types such as L, T or C profiles, U-profiles offer greater dimensional stability and allow panels, edges or guide elements to be held securely. They are therefore often used when components need to be guided or edged laterally.
How to configure your aluminium U-profile to measure

Production takes place with defined tolerances in accordance with EN AW-6060 (AlMgSi0.5). The profiles are cut precisely, with the cut edge sawn, unfinished and not deburred. In the blank/raw version, slight scratches cannot be completely avoided due to the production process, which is customary in the trade.
Anodised or powder-coated versions are available as an option. Edged versions or special solutions can also be realised on request. Daily dispatch, safe delivery and tested quality standards round off the range.
