Aluminium Slat Panel for Walls & Facades – Mill Finish or RAL Powder Coated Wall and façade panel
Product information
Aluminium Wall & Facade Panel – Mill Finish or RAL Powder Coated
The EN AW-6063 T5 aluminium wall and facade panel is a high-quality extruded slatted profile designed for modern wall and ceiling cladding as well as architectural facade applications. Its three-dimensional profile geometry creates an elegant slatted appearance with clean lines, distinctive depth and largely concealed fixings.
The panel is available in natural mill-finish aluminium or powder coated in a RAL colour of your choice. This makes it suitable for understated or contrasting design concepts, from contemporary homes and offices to reception areas, retail premises and commercial buildings.

Mill Finish or RAL Powder Coated – Choose Your Surface
Mill-finish aluminium: The untreated aluminium surface retains its natural metallic character. It is suitable for projects where the original material appearance is desired or where further processing is planned. Extrusion, storage and handling marks as well as minor visual variations may occur.
RAL powder coated: For individual colour design, the aluminium slatted panel can be powder coated in a RAL colour of your choice. Popular options include RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, RAL 9005 Jet Black, RAL 9016 Traffic White, RAL 1019 Grey Beige and RAL 7039 Quartz Grey. Additional RAL colours allow the cladding to be coordinated with different architectural and interior design concepts.
Powder coating provides a decorative, durable finish. Colour appearance and gloss level may vary depending on the selected coating, lighting conditions and screen display.
Modern Slatted Design for Walls and Facades
The distinctive profile shape creates a uniform, three-dimensional slatted structure. Raised sections and recessed areas produce an architectural sense of depth that changes with the angle of light.
Whether used for large wall surfaces, decorative feature walls or modern facade elements, the aluminium profile combines linear design with the functional properties of a metal cladding system. Indirect lighting can enhance the resulting light and shadow effects.
Coordinated Profile System with Largely Concealed Fixings
The individual aluminium slatted panels feature a coordinated profile geometry, allowing them to be assembled into a continuous cladding surface. Screws are positioned within the designated profile area and are largely concealed by the next panel.
This creates a consistent slatted appearance with visually discreet fixing points. The effective coverage width of approx. 124 mm is the relevant dimension for calculating the required number of panels and must not be confused with the overall profile width of approx. 141.8 mm.
Typical Applications
- Modern interior wall cladding
- Ceiling cladding and architectural ceiling designs
- Facade cladding with suitable substructure and fixings
- Reception areas, offices and meeting rooms
- Hotels, restaurants and prestigious commercial premises
- Showrooms, shopfitting and exhibition stands
- Living and dining areas and TV feature walls
- Hallways, stairwells and decorative accent surfaces
- Private and commercial building projects
Material Requirements and Area Calculation
The aluminium slatted panel has an overall width of approx. 141.8 mm. Due to the interlocking profile geometry, the effective coverage width is approx. 124 mm per panel.
Approximately 8.06 linear metres of aluminium profile are theoretically required per square metre of cladding. At a profile weight of approx. 1.016 kg/m, this results in a calculated weight of around 8.2 kg/m².
These values are intended for material planning. Cutting waste, edge trims, fixings, substructures and any additional system components are not included.
Surface and Installation Information
The mill-finish version is supplied with an untreated aluminium surface. Minor extrusion marks, scratches, storage or transport marks and material-related surface variations may occur. Powder-coated profiles may show slight colour or texture differences depending on the coating and production batch.
Fixings must be suitable for the substructure and supporting surface. For outdoor use, wind loads, thermal expansion, appropriate fasteners, rear ventilation and drainage must be considered. The suitability of the complete facade assembly must be assessed for the specific building project.
Product images and technical drawings are for illustration purposes. The stated technical product data and selected finish are decisive.
