Product information
Steel Square Tubes – S235JRH (1.0039) according to EN 10219-1/2
These steel square tubes are welded hollow sections made of structural steel S235JRH (1.0039), manufactured according to EN 10219-1/2 in compliance with EN 10025 requirements. Production is carried out by cold- or hot-forming processes. The profiles feature a square hollow cross-section and are characterized by uniform wall thickness distribution and typical mechanical material properties.
Main features
- Material: S235JRH (1.0039) according to EN 10219-1/2, in accordance with EN 10025
- Manufacturing: Welded hollow section, cold- or hot-formed
- Profile shape: Square hollow section
- Weldability: Suitable for common welding processes
- Delivery condition: Raw (black)
Note: Due to the manufacturing process, all square tubes have a visible longitudinal weld seam. The position of the weld seam may vary depending on the profile dimensions and does not constitute a quality defect. Saw-cut edges are unfinished and not deburred. Surface characteristics related to material and production, such as rolling marks, minor scratches or transport marks, may occur and are not grounds for complaint within the applicable standard requirements.
Material properties:
- uniform wall thickness distribution
- good weldability
- typical mechanical material properties
- suitable for load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures
Technical specifications
- Standard: EN 10219-1/2
- Tolerances: according to EN 10219-2
- Material: S235JRH (1.0039)
- Surface: Raw (black)
Dimensional, shape and weight tolerances comply with EN 10219-2. The surface condition corresponds to the respective delivery condition and is not intended for decorative visible applications without additional mechanical or surface finishing.
