Galvanized Steel Sheet DX51D+Z275 – according to EN 10346 / EN 10143
The galvanized steel sheet DX51D+Z275 is an easy-to-process steel sheet with a zinc coating on both sides. Compared with untreated steel, the zinc coating provides increased corrosion protection and is suitable for numerous applications in metal construction, mechanical engineering and vehicle construction as well as for covers, cladding and technical structures.

Cut Edges and Corrosion Protection
Please note that the cut edges created during cutting are not galvanized. The steel is exposed at these points and may corrode, particularly when exposed to moisture and weathering.
For applications where the cut edges are exposed to moisture or weathering, we recommend treating the cut edges after processing with a suitable zinc-rich paint or corrosion protection. A suitable zinc spray for touch-up galvanizing is also available directly from us: 400 ml Zinc Spray – Repair and Corrosion Protection Spray.
Cut edges are supplied untreated as standard and may be sharp and/or not deburred.
Processing Information
Galvanized steel sheet can generally be powder-coated. Suitable pretreatment is required for this purpose. With galvanized surfaces, process-related outgassing, pores, unevenness or adhesion problems may occur.

Tolerances and Surface Condition
Dimensional, shape and thickness tolerances are governed by the applicable standards. Manufacturing-related deviations within the permissible standard tolerances may occur.
Please note that the actual surface condition may differ from the product images due to different production batches. Variations in colour, gloss level and the structure of the galvanized surface may occur due to the material and manufacturing process. The appearance shown in product images may also differ from the actual appearance due to different monitor, display and graphics settings.
