Product information
Galvanized structural steel pipe – S235JRH (1.0039) according to EN 10219 / DIN EN ISO 1461
These galvanized structural steel pipes are welded round tubes made from structural steel S235JRH (1.0039), manufactured in accordance with EN 10219 taking into account the requirements of EN 10025. After production, the pipes are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1461 with a metallic zinc coating. The galvanizing provides long-term corrosion protection and may exhibit process-typical surface characteristics.
Main features
- Material: S235JRH (1.0039) according to EN 10219, acc. to EN 10025
- Manufacturing: Welded structural pipe
- Corrosion protection: Hot-dip galvanized according to DIN EN ISO 1461
- Profile shape: Round tube (hollow section)
- Delivery condition: Hot-dip galvanized
Note: Due to the manufacturing process, the pipes feature a longitudinal weld seam which does not constitute a quality defect. During hot-dip galvanizing, typical zinc characteristics such as runs, spikes, ash residues or varying surface textures may occur. These are process-related and comply with DIN EN ISO 1461. Sawed cut edges are unfinished and not deburred; cut surfaces may remain uncoated and must be subsequently protected against corrosion if required. A suitable zinc spray for re-galvanizing is also available from us: Zinc spray 400 ml – repair and corrosion protection spray.
Material properties:
- material-typical strength properties of structural steel S235JRH
- good weldability prior to galvanizing
- long-lasting corrosion protection through metallic zinc coating
- uniform wall thickness distribution
Technical specifications
- Standard: EN 10219
- Tolerances: according to EN 10219-2
- Material: S235JRH (1.0039)
- Coating: Hot-dip galvanized according to DIN EN ISO 1461
- Surface: Batch galvanized
- Lengths: Standard lengths or custom cut
- Wall thicknesses: depending on selected dimension
Dimensional, shape and weight tolerances comply with EN 10219-2. The galvanizing process may result in minor dimensional deviations within permissible tolerances. The surface corresponds to the typical appearance of batch galvanizing and is not intended for decorative visible applications without further finishing.
Applications
- Steel and metal constructions for indoor and outdoor use
- Load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures
- Frame and substructures
- Technical applications requiring enhanced corrosion protection
Delivery is made as a hot-dip galvanized welded structural pipe in accordance with EN 10219 and DIN EN ISO 1461. Production-related geometric deviations within permissible tolerances are possible.
