Hot-rolled rounded-edge steel angles – S235JR (1.0038) according to EN 10056 / EN 10025
This rounded-edge steel angle is hot-rolled from structural steel S235JR (1.0038) and complies with the requirements of EN 10056 as well as the material standard EN 10025. It consists of equal-leg angle sections in hot-rolled execution with typically rounded inner and outer edges. The manufacturing process ensures a homogeneous material structure and material-typical mechanical properties.

These are due to the manufacturing process and do not constitute a quality defect provided the requirements of the applicable standards are met. Saw-cut edges are unfinished and not deburred. Dimensional deviations within the normative tolerances are possible due to manufacturing.

Dimensional, shape and weight tolerances are governed by EN 10056. The mill-finish delivery condition does not provide permanent corrosion protection. For outdoor applications or increased corrosion exposure, a suitable surface treatment must be provided.
