Stainless steel flat bar unground 20 x 3 mm
Product information
Stainless steel flat bars – X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301) according to EN 10058 / EN 10088-2
These stainless steel flat bars are made from stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301), also known as V2A or AISI 304. The flat profiles are cut from strip or sheet metal and supplied in surface condition 1D (heat treated and pickled). The material meets the requirements of EN 10088-2 and shows typical mechanical as well as corrosion-resistant properties.
Main features
- Material: X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301) / AISI 304
- Standards: EN 10058 / EN 10088-2
- Manufacturing: h11, cut from strip or sheet metal
- Surface condition: 1D – heat treated, pickled
- Profile shape: rectangular flat bar
Note: Saw-cut edges are unfinished and not deburred due to production. Production-related surface characteristics such as slight scratches, drawing marks or batch-related colour differences may occur and do not constitute a quality defect provided the requirements of the applicable standards are met.
Material properties:
- very good corrosion resistance
- good formability
- very good weldability
- non-magnetizable in solution-annealed condition
- scale-free, pickled surface
- suitable for applications with increased hygienic requirements
