Frame flashing | sheet metal frame profile – custom made steel raw / untreated 1 mm
Product information
Frame flashing made to measure
You configure your frame flashing individually and we manufacture and deliver the component precisely to size. In the configurator you select the material – aluminium, stainless steel, steel, galvanized steel, copper or brass – as well as the desired surface. In addition to smooth sheets, structured options such as checker plate, perforated sheet or teardrop plate are available.
Frame flashings are used as a protective and visual finish for door and window reveals. They cover edges, compensate minor irregularities and create a clean, durable outline.
- Angle tolerance: +-1°
- Leg length tolerance: +-0.3 mm
- Length tolerance: +-3 mm
The sawn edges are unfinished, sharp and not deburred.
The surface is protected on one side only by a protective film. On the unprotected side, scratches caused by transport or handling cannot be completely ruled out. This corresponds to standard commercial quality and does not constitute a reason for complaint.
Ordering notes
- Bending creates material- and thickness-dependent radii on the inside and outside.
- The geometry of the frame flashing is designed for clean reveal connections.
- Minor tool marks may occur due to production.
Application & use
Frame flashings are used to neatly finish door and window openings and protect adjacent edges from damage. They enhance appearance and increase durability in high-use areas.
Depending on material and surface, frame flashings are suitable for residential, commercial and public buildings. Fixing is carried out by screwing, riveting or using suitable mounting adhesive.
