Snow guard wedge made to measure

You configure your snow guard wedge individually and we manufacture and deliver the component precisely to size. In the configurator you select the material – aluminium, stainless steel, steel or galvanized steel – as well as the desired surface. In addition to smooth sheets, structured options such as checker plate, perforated sheet or teardrop plate are available.

Snow guard wedges are installed on pitched roofs to retain sliding snow in a controlled manner. They improve safety for people, vehicles and structures below.

  • Angle tolerance: +-1°
  • Leg length tolerance: +-0.3 mm
  • Length tolerance: +-3 mm

The sawn edges are unfinished, sharp and not deburred.

The surface is protected on one side only by a protective film. On the unprotected side, scratches caused by transport or handling cannot be completely ruled out. This corresponds to standard commercial quality and does not constitute a reason for complaint.

Ordering notes

  • Bending creates material- and thickness-dependent radii on the inside and outside.
  • The wedge geometry is designed for even snow load distribution.
  • Minor tool marks may occur due to production.

Application & use

Snow guard wedges are mounted on roof surfaces to retain snow and prevent uncontrolled sliding. They are typically installed near roof edges, above entrances or traffic areas.

Depending on material and surface, snow guard wedges are suitable for residential, commercial and public buildings in regions with snowfall. Installation is carried out by screwing or integration into the roof system.
