Square stainless steel glass clamp 45 × 45 mm
This high-quality square stainless steel glass clamp is designed for secure fixing of glass panels to railings with round tubes Ø 42.4 mm. The supplied rubber inserts are designed for 6 mm glass and protect the panel from direct contact with the metal. This version is supplied without a safety plate and without a safety pin. The result is a stable and visually appealing glass fixing.
The glass clamp is made of V4A stainless steel. Compared with V2A, V4A offers increased corrosion resistance and is particularly suitable for demanding outdoor, humid, coastal or saline environments.

Installation notes
Preparation
We recommend the following tools and materials for installation:
- Allen key
- ISO 7380 M8 × 20 stainless steel button head screw (not included)
- METALXACT retaining compound or a suitable thread-locking adhesive
- rubber inserts matched to the glass thickness
- METALXACT stainless steel care spray
Installation
First loosen the two M6 × 16 countersunk screws connecting the two halves of the glass clamp using a suitable Allen or TX30 key. We recommend applying a small amount of thread-locking or retaining adhesive to the screw threads to achieve a permanently secure connection.
Then fasten one half of the glass clamp to the tube, post or intended mounting surface using a stainless steel button head screw; ISO 7380 M8 × 20 is recommended. Tighten the fixing screw evenly and securely with the appropriate tool.
Fit the rubber inserts suitable for the glass thickness to the inner faces of the clamp. If necessary, an Allen key may be used carefully as an installation aid. Position the glass panel and attach the second half of the clamp to the already fixed half using the two countersunk screws, tightening them evenly.
