Stainless steel round bars ground K240 – X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301) / 1.4305 according to EN 10088-3
These stainless steel round bars in ground finish K240 are manufactured from stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301), also known as V2A or AISI 304, as well as alternatively from 1.4305 (AISI 303). The round bars are produced in drawn condition with tolerance class h9 and are subsequently provided with a ground surface K240. This makes the material particularly suitable for applications where, in addition to corrosion resistance, a uniform and technically clean appearance is required.

Dimensional tolerances
The dimensional tolerances for stainless steel round bars in ground finish are based on EN 10278 in tolerance class h9. Surface-related deviations in the grinding pattern do not affect dimensional accuracy and are possible due to the manufacturing process.
