Product information
Stainless steel square tubes – welded in 1.4301 (V2A)
Stainless steel square tubes made of X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301), also known as V2A or AISI 304, are versatile structural profiles for indoor and outdoor use. They are manufactured from strip material and produced by welding. Thanks to their uniform geometry, they offer high stability while remaining comparatively lightweight and are ideally suited for load-bearing and decorative applications.
Main features
- Material: X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301) / AISI 304
- Standards: ASTM A554 / EN 10219-2
- Manufacturing: welded
- Surface: raw / bright, unground
- Profile shape: square tube
Note: Saw-cut edges are unfinished and not deburred. Production-related characteristics such as weld seams, slight scratches or batch-related surface deviations are typical of the material and do not constitute grounds for complaint.
Material properties
- very good corrosion resistance
- good formability
- very good weldability
- scale-free, bright surface
- non-magnetizable in solution-annealed condition
- suitable for applications in the food sector
