Verge flashing | gable edge flashing – custom made steel raw / untreated 1 mm
Product information
Verges flashing made to measure
You configure your verge flashing individually and we manufacture and deliver the component precisely to size. In the configurator you select the material – aluminium, stainless steel, steel, galvanized steel, copper or brass – as well as the desired surface. In addition to smooth sheets, structured options such as checker plate, perforated sheet or teardrop plate are available.
Verge flashings are installed as a side edge finish of the roof and protect the roof structure at the gable ends from wind, rain and lateral weather exposure. Their shape provides a clean edge and controlled water run-off.
- Angle tolerance: +-1°
- Leg length tolerance: +-0.3 mm
- Length tolerance: +-3 mm
The sawn edges are unfinished, sharp and not deburred.
The surface is protected on one side only by a protective film. On the unprotected side, scratches caused by transport or handling cannot be completely ruled out. This corresponds to standard commercial quality and does not constitute a reason for complaint.
Ordering notes
- Bending creates material- and thickness-dependent radii on the inside and outside.
- The verge flashing geometry is designed for lateral roof edge protection.
- Minor tool marks may occur due to production.
Application & use
Verge flashings are used to finish the side edges of roofs and protect the roof construction from weather ingress. They prevent wind and moisture from penetrating beneath the roof covering.
Depending on material and surface, verge flashings are suitable for residential, commercial and public buildings. Installation is carried out by screwing or integration into the roofing system.
