Patina and surface information
The weathering steel is supplied raw and not fully pre-weathered. Its characteristic patina develops through alternating wet and dry periods. Colour, texture and speed of development depend on environmental conditions.
During patina formation, rust-coloured water may stain adjacent surfaces. A completely uniform rust surface or specific colour cannot be guaranteed.
Cut edges may be unfinished and not deburred. Mill scale, oxidation marks, colour variations, scratches or storage marks may occur on the untreated technical surface.
