Brass hexagon bars 17 mm
Product information
Brass hexagonal bars – CuZn39Pb3 (MS58) / CW614N
Brass hexagonal bars made of CuZn39Pb3 (MS58), also known as CW614N, are high-quality free-cutting brasses with excellent machinability. Due to their hexagonal shape, they are particularly suitable for the production of screws, nuts and precise connection elements as well as for efficient processing in series production.
Main features
- Material: CuZn39Pb3 (MS58)
- Material number: CW614N (formerly 2.0401)
- Standard: DIN EN 12164
- Surface: raw / bright
- Profile shape: hexagonal bar
Note: Saw-cut edges are unfinished and not deburred. The surface is raw/bright, which may result in typical production-related scratches and storage marks. This is standard in the trade and does not constitute grounds for complaint.
Material properties
- very good machinability
- excellent turning and drilling properties
- ideal for automatic machining
- good hot formability
- limited cold formability
