Note: At the ends of the powder-coated aluminium flat bars, process-related suspension holes of approx. 5 mm may be present. These are used for fixation during the coating process and are generally located at a distance of approx. 15 mm from the respective ends. The drill holes are untreated and not deburred. Due to the required suspension hooks, a uniform coating in this area cannot be fully guaranteed from a technical point of view. This also applies to the end faces of the profiles. Depending on process-related conditions, the hole may be present on one side, on both sides or be completely omitted; this is determined exclusively by the respective production process.
For precision applications, an allowance of approx. 50–80 mm must be planned if the entire length is to be used without suspension holes. The required cutting to length for removal of the holes after powder coating is not carried out by us and must be performed by the customer.
The powder coating is applied to both sides. As a result, all external dimensions may increase slightly. The coating thickness is approx. 0.06–0.08 mm per side.
Long and thin-walled components may deform due to their own weight and the effect of heat during the coating process. This does not constitute bending in the sense of a structural impairment, but rather a deviation from straightness. The components remain functional and fully usable.
The sawn edges are not coated, untreated and not deburred.
Deviations in surface appearance or colour effect compared to the product images are possible due to batch-related variations as well as monitor and graphics settings.
