Galvanized steel rectangular tubes – S235JRH (1.0039) to EN 10219-1/2 / DIN EN 1461
These galvanized steel rectangular tubes are welded hollow sections made of structural steel S235JRH (1.0039), manufactured according to EN 10219-1/2 in compliance with EN 10025 requirements. After production, the profiles are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with DIN EN 1461 with a zinc coating. The galvanization provides corrosion protection and forms a metallic protective layer whose appearance may vary due to the manufacturing process.

Note: Due to the manufacturing process, all rectangular tubes have a visible longitudinal weld seam. Depending on the profile dimensions, the weld seam may run along the wide or narrow side and does not constitute a quality defect. During hot-dip galvanizing, zinc-typical surface features such as zinc runs, drips, ash residues or varying surface textures may occur. These are process-related and do not constitute grounds for complaint provided DIN EN 1461 requirements are met. Saw-cut edges are production-related and not machined or deburred; cut surfaces may be uncoated after cutting and must be protected against corrosion if required. Dimensional, shape and weight tolerances comply with EN 10219-2. The galvanizing process may cause slight dimensional deviations within permissible tolerances. The surface corresponds to the typical appearance of batch hot-dip galvanizing and is not intended for decorative visible applications without additional finishing.
