This black steel flat bar is a hot-rolled flat section made of non-alloy structural steel S235JR (1.0038), manufactured in accordance with EN 10025 and dimensional tolerances according to EN 10058. The hot rolling process creates a robust, technically typical surface with mill scale, making it particularly suitable for structural applications in steel and metal construction. The material offers good mechanical properties and high cost efficiency for a wide range of applications.

For outdoor applications, subsequent surface treatment such as painting, galvanizing or coating is recommended for corrosion protection.

Flachstahl mit passendem Zuschnitt für mein Projekt
Für eine stabile Halterung brauchte ich Flachstahl nach Maß. Die Konfiguration war verständlich, und der Zuschnitt hat bei meiner Montage gut gepasst. Das Material macht einen soliden Eindruck und war sicher verpackt. Gerade bei Einzelteilen finde ich es praktisch, die benötigte Länge direkt bestellen zu können.
