Cold-drawn steel rectangular tubes – E235 (1.0308) to EN 10305-5
Steel rectangular tubes made of E235 (1.0308) according to EN 10305-5. Cold-drawn precision hollow sections with increased dimensional accuracy and improved surface quality for technical and structural applications.
Technical Features
- Material grade: E235 (1.0308)
- Standard: EN 10305-5 (precision steel tubes, cold-drawn)
- Manufacturing: welded and subsequently cold-drawn
- Surface: bright, metallic clean
- Wall thicknesses: according to standard dimensions
- Lengths: standard lengths or custom cutting
Execution Notes
Weld seam: Due to the manufacturing process, cold-drawn rectangular tubes also have an internal or slightly visible longitudinal weld seam. As a result of the subsequent cold-drawing process, this seam is geometrically reduced and uniformly formed and does not constitute a quality defect.
Cut edges: Saw-cut edges are production-related and are not machined or deburred.
Material Properties
- high dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances
- smooth, uniform surface
- good formability
- very good weldability
- ideal for visible and precise constructions
Tolerances and Surface Condition
Dimensional and shape tolerances comply with EN 10305-5. The surface condition corresponds to the bright delivery condition without additional surface coating or corrosion protection.
